Chutes Park was an early Los Angeles amusement park that originated as a trolley park in 1886 and operated as a 35-acre entertainment complex featuring rides, animal exhibits, theater, and a baseball venue until its closure in 1914, with the park being renamed Luna Park under new ownership in 1910.
