Fantaseas

Fantaseas was a British chain of indoor waterparks that operated in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with locations in Dartford, Kent (opened 1989) and Chingford, London (opened 1990), each featuring multiple water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and ancillary facilities. The chain ceased operations in the mid-1990s due to financial difficulties, poor attendance outside school holidays, and maintenance costs that mounted to over £6 million in debt, despite one site's relative profitability.
