Forest Park Highlands
Forest Park Highlands was an amusement park in St. Louis, Missouri, that operated from 1896 to 1963, originally opening as a beer garden before expanding into a full entertainment venue. The park featured attractions including a pagoda from the 1904 World's Fair, a ferris wheel, roller coaster, and various carnival rides, while hosting notable performers such as Sophie Tucker and John Philip Sousa, until a destructive fire in 1963 led to its closure and eventual replacement by a community college campus.
