Marshall Hall (amusement park)

Marshall Hall was a Potomac River-side amusement park in Maryland that operated from the early 1920s until 1980, known for its wooden roller coasters and as a popular destination for Washington, D.C. excursionists who arrived by boat. The park's decline began in 1977 when a tornado destroyed its main coaster, and it ceased operations three years later.
