Pacific Ocean Park
Pacific Ocean Park was a nautical-themed amusement park that opened in 1958 on a pier in Santa Monica, California, designed as a competitor to Disneyland before closing and eventually falling into disrepair. The 28-acre seaside attraction occupied the site of the former Ocean Park Pier and became a notable landmark in the Dogtown section of Santa Monica.
